I’ve changed the name of this blog to Digisumi and logging it here for posterity. Reasons for the name change:
- I noticed that there’s a artist / seller out there using the name Ink Frame.
- For as far as I can tell, Digisumi is not used in its current form in any commercial work except by a squatter on one of the free web hosting services. There are some mentions of digi-sumi-e to describe digital artwork that look like traditional sumi-e / ink-wash art.
- Digisumi is in Japanese デジすみ , a short form for digital - "digi" (in Katakana); and ink "sumi" (in Hiragana, or 墨 in Kanji). Seems fitting given the software in use.
Now to ponder about the logo...
