Alec has dinner plans with Stevie and Lisa. Lisa had undergone some big changes though.
I've changed the story a bit - Alec met up with Stevie and Lisa at the restaurant instead of heading home first, and then heading to the restaurant - there's just no reason for those two scenes to happen in two different sets / places.
